Anxiety & Worry Therapy
You may be outwardly maintaining your responsibilities and appear to have it all together—while privately spending too much time overthinking, worrying, avoiding, or trying to control what feels uncertain. At times, you might even feel like the walls are closing in, and it is hard to even breathe.
When excessive anxiety becomes your default mode, it can affect your health, relationships, work, and quality of life. To cope, you may find yourself avoiding activities you once enjoyed, withdrawing from social situations, or putting off important responsibilities in an effort to reduce anxiety or escape its distressing effects.
You don’t have to keep working around anxiety – you can change the patterns behind it.
Anxiety Concerns We Treat
We provide evidence-based treatment for a range of anxiety concerns, including generalized anxiety, persistent worry, social anxiety, panic disorder, and anxiety related to life stressors and transitions.
Anxiety Therapy That Works
Our structured, evidence-informed approach helps you understand the patterns keeping anxiety in place and develop practical strategies to change them—so you can spend less time managing anxiety and more time living your life. We use approaches like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), or exposure therapy when appropriate, to help you focus on meaningful change—not simply managing symptoms from week to week.
What to Expect
Anxiety treatment is active. We'll ask you to bring your real worries and fears into the room—and then practice responding to them differently both inside and outside of it. Between-session practices are an important part of treatment, giving you the opportunity to turn what you learn in therapy into real-world change. This may include intentionally facing fears, changing patterns of avoidance, practicing new ways of responding to anxious thoughts, or experimenting with different behaviors.
